My artistic practice revolves around the connection between inner and outer reality. I explore psychological dimensions, belief systems, and the unconscious, questioning how memories and inner images are shaped and perceived. My works move between abstraction and landscape associations, emerging in a dialogue between control and chance, where layers of color, structures, and transparencies create new spaces. In these visual worlds, I seek a balance between the familiar and the unknown, between depth and surface – a visual reflection on memory, perception, and the fragility of our existence.
I was born in Homs, Syria, in 1980. I grew up in Damascus and have been living in Vienna, Austria, since 2006.
In 2003, I completed my studies in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus. In 2011, I graduated with a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, in the master class of Prof. Gunter Damisch, specializing in printmaking.

Meine künstlerische Praxis kreist um die Verbindung zwischen innerer und äußerer Realität. Ich erforsche psychologische Dimensionen, Glaubenssysteme und das Unbewusste und hinterfrage, wie Erinnerungen und innere Bilder geformt und wahrgenommen werden. Meine Arbeiten bewegen sich zwischen Abstraktion und landschaftlichen Assoziationen, sie entstehen in einem Dialog zwischen Kontrolle und Zufall, in dem Farbschichten, Strukturen und Transparenten neue Räume schaffen. In diesen Bildwelten suche ich nach einer Balance zwischen Vertrautem und Unbekanntem, zwischen Tiefe und Oberfläche – als visuelle Reflexion über Erinnerung, Wahrnehmung und die Fragilität unserer Existenz.
Ich bin in Homs, Syrien 1980 geboren. Aufgewachsen in DamasKus und lebe seit 2006 in Wien Österreich.
2003 habe ich mein Studium der Bildhauerei in der Faculty of fine arts Damakus abgeschlossen.
2011 habe ich mein Diplomstudium an der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien, Meisterklasse Prof. Gunter Damisch, Grafik und druckgrafische Techniken, abgeschlossen.
